The band sweeps up on each side to cradle the center like the arches of a cathedral, then carries a line of pavé along the way. At the top, a 0.9 carat round, D color and VVS clarity, raised high where it catches light from underneath as well as above. The cathedral shoulders add height and drama a flat band cannot, without hiding the stone. A little more architecture for the person who wants their solitaire to have a silhouette.
