Two half-moon side stones curve against the flat ends of the center, softening the emerald's strict geometry with a pair of gentle arcs. The lab-grown center runs about 2.0 carats, D color and VVS clarity. Half-moons are the rarer companion cut, and they give a three-stone a distinctive, slightly softer profile than baguettes or trapezoids.
