Pear Blue Sapphire Chevron Ring (1/6 ctw)

A 6 by 4 mm pear-cut natural blue sapphire tips sideways at the top of this ring, cradled where two diamond-lined bands rise and meet in a soft chevron. The 1/6 ctw of pavé traces both arms of the V, so the sparkle runs right down the finger instead of clustering in one spot. It reads modern and a little architectural, the choice for someone who finds a traditional halo too expected.
