Details

An emerald-cut morganite steps down in clean planes at the center of this ring, ringed by a halo that lifts the blush colour and guards the corners. Step cuts show a stone's clarity plainly, and morganite tends to run clean, so the long open face reads soft and glassy. Choose the pink or the peach grade here. Morganite is 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale, hard, yet a beryl chips at the corners first, which is just where the halo shelters it. The center is a genuine natural morganite, gently heated to settle its pink and disclosed plainly. Rose gold warms the step-cut glow. A right hand ring. Choose your metal and carat below.

Shown complete with a real Emerald natural morganite center, a blush pink morganite or the warmer peach grade, whichever you choose, from 1.5 to 2.25 carat, from $1,309 all-in. The price is the finished ring: the setting, the morganite center you choose, and the labor to set and size it. Morganite is pink-to-peach beryl at 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale, so it is hard, though like its emerald and aquamarine cousins it can chip on a hard knock, which is why we favour sheltering settings and hand select every stone. Nearly all morganite, ours included, is gently heat treated, and sometimes irradiated, to clear a faint yellow cast and settle its pink, a standard and permanent step we disclose plainly rather than claim the stone is untreated. Set it in rose gold for the signature warm-on-blush look. These calibrated stones ship without an individual lab report. Want a certified or larger center? Contact our concierge and we will source and quote it honestly.

Questions

What is at the center? A real natural Emerald morganite, from 1.5 to 2.25 carat. You can choose a blush pink morganite or the warmer peach grade on this page; both are the same species, just different tones of pink. Choose the carat, colour and metal on this page.

Is this an engagement ring or a fashion ring? This is a fashion ring, made for the right hand, a stack or a self purchase rather than a proposal. Wear it however you like.

Is the morganite natural? Yes. Every center is a natural, earth mined morganite, the pink-to-peach variety of beryl. We do not set imitation, glass or simulant here, and lab grown morganite is essentially not a market stone.

Is it treated? Nearly all morganite is gently heat treated, and sometimes irradiated, to clear a faint yellow cast and settle its pink. The treatment is standard, permanent and does not fade, and we say so rather than imply the stone is untouched.

How durable is a morganite ring? Morganite is 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale, hard enough for daily wear, but like its beryl cousins emerald and aquamarine it can chip or cleave on a sharp knock, so we favour bezel, halo, cluster and channel settings that shelter the stone and suggest removing it for rough work.

Does it come with a certificate? These calibrated morganite ship without an individual lab report. We hand check every one for even colour and a clean face, and can source a certified or larger stone on request.
