Amber Bezel Oval Citrine Ring

A clean rim of metal wraps the whole edge of an oval citrine, so its warm glow reads from inside a smooth bezel. For a faceted stone worn every day, a full bezel is the most protective setting there is, and it looks modern doing the job. Golden or Madeira, the choice is yours, the one honey and the other a deep reddish cognac. Citrine is 7 on the Mohs scale and free of cleavage, so it wears well, and the bezel guards its edges from the odd sharp knock. The stone is a genuine natural citrine, heat treated to its colour as almost all citrine is, disclosed plainly. This is a right hand ring. Choose your metal, carat and colour below.

The price is the finished ring: the setting, the citrine center you choose, and the labor to set and size it. Citrine is golden-to-Madeira quartz at 7 on the Mohs scale, so it wears well but still scratches and can chip on a hard knock, which is why we favour sheltering settings and hand select every stone. Most citrine, ours included, is gently heat treated from amethyst or smoky quartz to reach its colour, a standard and permanent step we disclose plainly rather than claim the stone is untreated.
