The Natural Pink Sapphire & Diamond Three-Stone Ring centres on a natural pink sapphire - a corundum gem, the same durable species as blue sapphire, here in a romantic pink - cut as a pear stone, measuring roughly 5x3mm and held in a three-stone design flanked by round diamonds.

This is a genuine natural pink sapphire (corundum). Like most sapphires it may be heat-treated to develop its colour - a standard, permanent and widely accepted trade practice - and it is disclosed accordingly. Pink sapphire is exceptionally hard (Mohs 9), second only to diamond, which makes it a superb choice for a ring worn every day.

1/8 ctw of natural diamonds accent the design, disclosed with equal prominence to the natural pink sapphire. Every stone is real and clearly described: the centre is natural pink sapphire and the diamond accents are natural.

Sapphire is easy to live with: clean it with warm, soapy water and a soft brush, avoid harsh chemicals, and store it separately so it does not scratch softer gems. Set in solid metal, not plated.
