Details
Look straight down and you see one clean lab-grown diamond on a slim band. Tilt your hand and the basket underneath comes alive: a collar of milgrain, tiny beads worked into the ring's own metal, running right around the head where most settings leave a plain wall.
Be clear on what that collar is, because a photograph will not tell you. It is metal, not diamond — yellow beads on the yellow gold, rose on the rose. Besides the center, the only stones on this ring are two 1.30 mm natural pinpoints set into the gallery, 0.02 ct between them. It is beadwork and a whisper of sparkle, not a second row of stones, and we would rather say so plainly than let a close-up imply otherwise.
A round brilliant is the cut that throws light back hardest, and a decorated basket lifts it without widening the ring. The shank stays narrow enough to sit flush against a wedding band, so this reads as easily at a desk on a Tuesday as it does under restaurant light.
As a gift it is the gentlest way into a vintage look: the silhouette from above is the classic single stone almost everyone says yes to, and the milgrain is what she finds when she looks closer. We can size it, hold it for a date, and ship it to you or straight to her.
The honest catch is that a milgrain basket collects hand cream and dust faster than a plain head. Warm water, a soft brush, two minutes a month. That is the entire maintenance story.
Choose your metal and center weight below. Each ring is set and sized to order at our bench.
Stone mix, stated plainly: the center is a lab-grown diamond. The accents are natural diamonds, two 1.30 mm pinpoints in the milgrain gallery, 0.02 ct tw. This ring is not entirely lab-grown, and we would rather you knew that here than found it out later.

Answers, before you ask
Your Questions
Is the center diamond lab-grown?
Yes. Every center in this ring is a lab-grown diamond, grown in a known facility and graded by IGI, with the report supplied. It is chemically and optically diamond. We call it lab-grown everywhere, including on your invoice, because that is what it is.
Are the accent diamonds lab-grown too?
No, and this is the part most sites leave out. The center is lab-grown; the two 1.30 mm pinpoints in the milgrain gallery are natural diamonds from our setter's stock, 0.02 ct tw, matched and eye-clean. Mixed like this is normal in the trade. Saying so is not.
Is the price the whole ring?
Yes. The price you see is the mounting, the center and any accents, finished and sized. There is no setting fee waiting at checkout.
What ring size, and can it be resized later?
You tell us the size after you order and we finish it to that size at no extra cost. First-year resizing is free. A plain shank sizes easily in both directions.
What can go wrong, honestly?
Prongs wear. We ask for a prong check every six months and we re-tip them under the lifetime warranty for as long as you own the ring. The two pinpoints in the gallery are small and bead-set; if one is ever knocked loose we re-set it under the same warranty.
Does the white gold change color?
White gold is rhodium-plated, and plating is a wear item. It gradually warms over a few years and wants re-plating. Platinum does not do this. If that matters to you, choose platinum.
Can you ship it to her instead of me?
Yes. Tell us the address and we will ship it there, fully insured, in our packaging.
