The band looks paved in light because it very nearly is. French pavé cuts a small V beneath each melee diamond so more of the stone shows and the metal seems to disappear, a row of natural G-to-H, SI diamonds carrying the eye up to the ruby. That center is genuine mined corundum, heat-treated as standard and disclosed without fuss, selected by hand to a saturated medium red. Warm gold flatters the stone; white gold gives it edge.
