Men's Garnet Ring, 7 mm with Pierced Shoulders

A 7 mm round natural garnet in a half-bezel bar setting, flanked by shoulders pierced with a scrolled openwork pattern that lets light through from the side. The top rises 6.7 mm.

The bar setting leaves the girdle of the stone exposed on two opposing edges — it looks better, and it means the ring wants a little more care than a full bezel does.

About the stone: Garnet is one of the few gems that is almost never treated.
