This is the plainest and, we think, the hardest piece in the collection to get right — there is no halo, no bead work, no diamond to distract from the colour. The stone has to carry it, and at 5 mm of AA-quality green beryl it does.

Natural emerald is the green variety of beryl and is, as a matter of routine trade practice, clarity-enhanced with colourless oil or resin. No untreated or no-oil claim is made.
