Opal Circle Necklace

A ring of ten graduated opal cabochons, prong set one after another so the circle reads as stone first and gold second. The centre is left open, which is what keeps a 20 mm pendant light on the neck and lets skin or shirt show through the middle. The cabochons step up in size from 2 mm at the top of the circle round to 4.5 mm at the bottom.
