An oval cabochon rather than a round one, the shape the rest of the collection does not offer. The 6x4 mm oval gives the stone a longer axis to run its colour along, which reads differently on the ear to a round dome. Four standard prongs, a clean profile, and one of the few pieces here that Stuller holds in stock rather than making to order.

The opal is genuine natural Australian white opal, 6x4 mm. Stuller records the AGTA enhancement code for this opal as Natural, so no treatment is disclosed for the stone. Diamond and gemstone carat weights and millimetre sizes are approximate and may vary slightly from the stated figure.

Opal is a softer, water-sensitive gem at 5.5 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale. Clean with a soft dry cloth, and never use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner.
