Clean metal rims, straight lines, and a fully enclosed point. A smooth bezel wraps the entire pear, point included, so no edge of the center is left exposed. On each side, a tapered lab-grown diamond baguette sits between polished metal bars, its narrow end pointing away from the center. The plain band keeps the geometry crisp. The pairing of a soft pear curve with straight, step-cut sides leans architectural and modern. A good fit for someone who is hard on their hands.
Choose a pear center from 0.65 to 1.23 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.00 to 1.20 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. How well does the bezel protect the pear's tip?
Very well. The metal rim runs continuously around the stone, including the point, which is the edge most likely to chip on a pear. With no claws to catch on knits or snag hair, it is one of the more practical ways to wear this shape every day. The trade-off is slightly less light entering from the sides than in an open claw setting.
What center sizes work with the baguette sides?
This design is offered with centers from 0.65 to 1.23 carats, a range that keeps the pear in proportion with the tapered baguettes on either side. Within it, a smaller center lets the sides read as a strong frame, while 1.23 carats puts the pear clearly in charge. If you want a larger pear, several solitaire styles here go up to 2.75 carats.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every pear center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range.
