Details
Slim marquise sides echo the pointed end of the center. Two marquise-cut lab-grown diamonds sit on either side of the pear, laid along the band so their points lead away from the center. Their tapered shapes repeat the pear's own point, giving the ring a light, airy line rather than a heavy cluster. Pointed claws hold the center, and the ends of each marquise sit in small metal caps. Past the side stones, small round lab-grown diamonds continue down the shank.
Choose a pear center from 0.65 to 2.75 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.00 to 1.20 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. If you would rather pick an individually graded loose diamond, natural or lab-grown, build it in Design Your Ring.
Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Are the marquise points protected?
Yes. Each end of the marquise side stones sits in a small metal cap, so the points are covered rather than exposed. The center pear is held by pointed claws, with one at its tip. Points are the most delicate part of any marquise or pear, so removing the ring for heavy work keeps all three stones in good condition.
How does this compare with round side stones?
Round sides add brightness and a fuller, more traditional three-stone look. Marquise sides are narrower and longer, so they extend the line of the ring along the finger and keep the head looking lighter. Because their points echo the pear, the three stones read as a matched family of shapes rather than a contrast.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every pear center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. Can I have a natural diamond instead?
