A plain solitaire from ten feet. Up close, the shank is carved with a shallow engraved line that runs the length of the band and stops clean at the head, throwing a thin second highlight alongside the lab-grown diamond.
It is the answer for the person who finds a four-prong solitaire slightly too plain and a stone-set band slightly too much. There are no accent stones to lose, nothing to snag on a sweater, and the engraving keeps its shape because it is cut into the metal rather than set on top of it.
Gifting it is low risk for the same reason. No melee means no maintenance conversation and no question of whether she likes sparkle on the band. We size it at the bench and ship to you or to her.
The one honest limit: a carved shank cannot be resized far without touching the engraving, so we would rather get her size right up front than fix it later. We will send a sizer, free, before you order.

Your Questions
Is the center diamond lab-grown?
Yes. Every center in this ring is a lab-grown diamond, grown in a known facility and graded by IGI, with the report supplied. It is chemically and optically diamond. We call it lab-grown everywhere, including on your invoice, because that is what it is.
Is the price the whole ring?
Yes. The price you see is the mounting, the center and any accents, finished and sized. There is no setting fee waiting at checkout.
What ring size, and can it be resized later?
You tell us the size after you order and we finish it to that size at no extra cost. First-year resizing is free. This shank carries accents, so later resizing is limited in range. Ask us before you order and we will send a sizer at no charge.
What can go wrong, honestly?
Prongs wear. We ask for a prong check every six months and we re-tip them under the lifetime warranty for as long as you own the ring. There is no melee on this ring, so there is nothing small to lose.
Does the white gold change color?
White gold is rhodium-plated, and plating is a wear item. It gradually warms over a few years and wants re-plating. Platinum does not do this. If that matters to you, choose platinum.
Can you ship it to her instead of me?
Yes. Tell us the address and we will ship it there, fully insured, in our packaging.
