Square Pink Tourmaline & Diamond Halo Pendant

A 4 by 4 mm square-cut natural pink tourmaline held in claw prongs (Stuller specifies a three-prong claw mount), inside a continuous diamond halo whose outer edge is softened to a cushion. Square stone, rounded halo: the contrast between the two outlines is what gives a 7.76 mm pendant more presence than its size suggests.

A square cut sends light back in four broad quadrants rather than scattering it, so the colour stays even across the table. The halo of natural diamonds supplies the sparkle around the edge that the cut itself does not.

The cornered halo is the dressier cousin of a plain solitaire: a first anniversary, a graduation, a piece bought to mark something specific.

The pink tourmaline is natural. Where the design carries diamonds, the accent diamonds are natural too, never lab-grown or simulated, and are supplied to a published colour and clarity spec.
