One oval of rainbow moonstone, 10 by 8 millimetres, held in a smooth closed bezel with a single natural diamond set above it. Tilt it and the stone lights from the inside, a soft blue sheen drifting across the dome like weather moving over water.

Is the chain included?
Yes. This is a finished necklace from our supplier and the solid gold or platinum chain is part of the piece, not an add-on. It is adjustable, so you can wear it at 16 or 18 inches, and you choose that length at checkout.
Is the diamond real?
Yes. The accent above the bezel is a natural diamond, 0.03 carat total weight, approximate. No lab-grown or simulated stones are used anywhere in this piece.
Will the moonstone show colour on me, or only in the photograph?
Adularescence is a real optical effect in the stone rather than a coating, so it moves as you move. It reads strongest in directional light and softest under flat office lighting. The renders show the stone as our supplier photographs it.
How careful do I need to be with it?
Moonstone is a soft stone (Mohs 6 to 6.5) with perfect cleavage, so it chips and cracks more easily than quartz or sapphire. Put it on last and take it off first, store it apart from harder stones, and keep it out of ultrasonic and steam cleaners. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
