A short line of bezel-set diamonds leads the eye down to a single akoya pearl, a vertical drop that lengthens the neckline.

The drop measures 20.28 by 6.32 mm in solid 14K yellow gold. Four bezel-set natural diamonds total 1/8 ctw, G-H color and I1 clarity, and the pearl is a 6.5 mm cultured akoya pearl with a bright luster. It hangs from a 1 mm cable chain that adjusts from 16 to 18 inches, with a spring ring clasp.

Elegant enough for an evening and simple enough for every day.

Pearl care: pearls rate only 2.5 to 3 on the Mohs scale, so put this on last, after perfume, hair spray and lotion, and take it off first. Wipe the pearls with a soft, damp cloth after wearing and store the piece on its own, never in a plastic bag. Never use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner.
