A round akoya pearl framed by a cushion-shaped halo of tiny diamonds, a small piece with real sparkle.
The halo measures 8.27 by 7.6 mm in solid 14K yellow gold and holds a 4.5 mm cultured akoya pearl. The halo is set with natural diamonds totaling 0.06 ctw, G-H color and I1 clarity. It is fixed to a 1 mm cable chain at both sides, 16 inches long, with a spring ring clasp.
It sits close to the collarbone and pairs naturally with pearl or diamond studs.
Pearl care: pearls rate only 2.5 to 3 on the Mohs scale, so put this on last, after perfume, hair spray and lotion, and take it off first. Wipe the pearls with a soft, damp cloth after wearing and store the piece on its own, never in a plastic bag. Never use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner.
