Details
Three akoya pearls of graduated size mingle with small clusters of diamonds along a curved bar, like a sprig of pearls at the neck.
The bar measures 20.5 by 7 mm in solid 14K yellow gold. The largest pearl is a 4.5 mm cultured akoya pearl, flanked by two smaller akoya pearls, and the natural diamonds total 0.08 ctw, G-H color and I1 clarity. It is fixed to a 1 mm cable chain at both sides, 16 inches long, with a spring ring clasp.
It reads delicate and celebratory at once, a natural choice for a bride or a June birthday.
Pearl care: pearls rate only 2.5 to 3 on the Mohs scale, so put this on last, after perfume, hair spray and lotion, and take it off first. Wipe the pearls with a soft, damp cloth after wearing and store the piece on its own, never in a plastic bag. Never use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner.
More pearl styles live in our pearl necklaces and the full pearl jewelry collection.
