The pearl is a 6 mm cultured akoya pearl, white with the bright, mirror-like luster akoya pearls are prized for. It hangs from a solid 14K yellow gold bail on an 18 inch, 1 mm rope chain with a spring ring clasp.

Pearl care: pearls rate only 2.5 to 3 on the Mohs scale, so put this on last, after perfume, hair spray and lotion, and take it off first. Wipe the pearls with a soft, damp cloth after wearing and store the piece on its own, never in a plastic bag. Never use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner.
