Gray Freshwater Pearl Strand Necklace in 14K White Gold (4.5–5mm)

A full strand of dove-gray pearls, softer than black and more unexpected than white.

The strand is made of 4.5 to 5 mm cultured freshwater pearls, color-treated to their gray tone; the color is not naturally occurring. It is 16 inches long and closes with a fish-hook clasp in 14K white gold.

Gray pearls flatter both warm and cool skin tones and work as well with charcoal tailoring as with a summer dress.

Pearl care: pearls rate only 2.5 to 3 on the Mohs scale, so put this on last, after perfume, hair spray and lotion, and take it off first. Wipe the pearls with a soft, damp cloth after wearing and store the piece on its own, never in a plastic bag. Never use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner.
