Details
A smooth channel of princess-cut diamonds runs up a cathedral arch to the oval. Twenty-two small princess-cut lab-grown diamonds sit edge to edge between two rails of metal, so the band feels smooth rather than prong-studded. The shoulders rise into cathedral arches that lift the center roughly 7 mm at the 1.10 ct size. Four prongs hold the oval, and the band measures about 2.6 mm at the base.
Choose an oval center from 0.75 to 2.50 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.00 to 1.20 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Every order ships free and fully insured by UPS Ground; orders of $500 or more ship by complimentary UPS Express, signature required on delivery (a $50 upgrade below that). Ready-to-ship pieces leave us in 2–3 business days; made-to-order pieces in 5–10.
Rings are final sale. Every ring is made or sized to your ring size, and engagement rings are set with the centre you choose, so a ring can’t be returned or exchanged for a refund or another size. Please confirm your size before you order; our concierge is glad to help. If a ring arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 7 days and we’ll make it right, and every piece carries our free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

What is a channel setting?
The accent diamonds sit in a groove cut into the band, held by continuous walls of metal on both sides instead of individual prongs. It is one of the most secure ways to set small stones and it does not snag.
Can a channel-set ring be resized?
Only a little, because the channel runs through the band. That is one reason each ring is made in your exact size from the start; check the sizing guide before you order.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every oval center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. If you want a specific graded stone, Design Your Ring lets you choose one individually.
Can I have a natural diamond instead?
This ring is offered with lab-grown centers. For a natural diamond, use Design Your Ring to choose a natural loose diamond with its own grading report and set it in one of our settings, or email concierge@diamondandsapphire.com and we will help.
How long does it take to make?
