Details
The split shank opens toward the pear, and milgrain-edged pavé leads the eye up to the point. Each shoulder divides into two slim rails edged in milgrain, and both rails are set with small lab-grown diamonds, 34 in all. Five prongs, including one at the tip, hold the pear about 5.5 mm high at the 1.10 ct size, and the band is about 2.5 mm wide at the base.
Choose a pear center from 0.65 to 2.75 carats. Each center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.10 ct size, for example, runs 1.00 to 1.20 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Every order ships free and fully insured by UPS Ground; orders of $500 or more ship by complimentary UPS Express, signature required on delivery (a $50 upgrade below that). Ready-to-ship pieces leave us in 2–3 business days; made-to-order pieces in 5–10.
Rings are final sale. Every ring is made or sized to your ring size, and engagement rings are set with the centre you choose, so a ring can’t be returned or exchanged for a refund or another size. Please confirm your size before you order; our concierge is glad to help. If a ring arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 7 days and we’ll make it right, and every piece carries our free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

What does a split shank do?
A split shank divides the band into two rails as it nears the center. It widens the top of the ring, makes the center look larger and adds room for more accent diamonds.
Does the pavé need care?
Small pavé diamonds are secure in daily wear, but have a jeweler check them once a year and take the ring off for the gym or heavy work.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every pear center is a calibrated lab-grown diamond made to an F-G color, VS clarity specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. If you want a specific graded stone, Design Your Ring lets you choose one individually.
Can I have a natural diamond instead?
This ring is offered with lab-grown centers. For a natural diamond, use Design Your Ring to choose a natural loose diamond with its own grading report and set it in one of our settings, or email concierge@diamondandsapphire.com and we will help.
How long does it take to make?
