A princess cut on a wide channel band, the clean, square look that has never gone out of style. Sixteen round lab-grown diamonds, each about 1.70 mm, sit side by side in a channel cut into the shoulders. The band is about 3.1 mm wide at the base, wider than most solitaires, so the ring feels substantial and the channel stays well protected. Four prongs hold the princess cut about 6.7 mm above the finger at the 1.00 ct size.
Choose a princess-cut center from 0.75 to 2.00 carats. Each center is a lab-grown diamond selected to a D to F color, VS2-or-better specification. Carat weights are nominal and each size has a published range; the 1.00 ct size, for example, runs 0.95 to 1.10 ct. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and physically the same as mined ones. Available in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, or platinum. The accent diamonds are lab-grown, near-colorless stones matched to the setting. Every order ships free and fully insured by UPS Ground; orders of $500 or more ship by complimentary UPS Express, signature required on delivery (a $50 upgrade below that). Ready-to-ship pieces leave us in 2–3 business days; made-to-order pieces in 5–10.
Rings are final sale. Every ring is made or sized to your ring size, and engagement rings are set with the centre you choose, so a ring can’t be returned or exchanged for a refund or another size. Please confirm your size before you order; our concierge is glad to help. If a ring arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 7 days and we’ll make it right, and every piece carries our free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

Is a wider band more comfortable?
Many people find a band of about 3.1 mm steadier on the finger, because it is less likely to spin. If you usually wear thin rings, you may want to go up a quarter size; the sizing guide explains how.
Does a channel band snag on clothing?
No. The diamonds sit inside a groove with smooth metal walls on each side, so there are no prongs along the band to catch on knits or hair.
What quality is the center diamond?
Every princess-cut center is a lab-grown diamond selected to a D to F color, VS2-or-better specification. Sizes are sold by nominal carat weight with a published tolerance range, so a stone may weigh slightly over or under the headline figure within that range. If you want a specific graded stone, Design Your Ring lets you choose one individually.
Can I have a natural diamond instead?
This ring is offered with lab-grown centers. For a natural diamond, use Design Your Ring to choose a natural loose diamond with its own grading report and set it in one of our settings, or email concierge@diamondandsapphire.com and we will help.
