A 6 x 4 mm emerald-cut lab-grown emerald, set on its side so the long step-cut table lies east-west across the throat and catches the light in clean horizontal flashes.

Four slim claw prongs hold the stone only at its corners, so almost the whole crown stays open to the light. That is why an emerald cut reads as clear green rather than a dark bezel.

This is a laboratory-grown emerald, grown in a controlled setting, with the same mineral composition, hardness and appearance as natural emerald. Emerald is a relatively soft, included stone, so clean it only with mild soap and lukewarm water, and never use ultrasonic cleaners, steam or harsh solvents.
