Engravable Birthstone Bar Necklace

A bar of solid 14K gold with one birthstone and room for a name. Pick the month that matters, hers or a child's, then engrave a name, a date or initials on the front, and a second line on the back if you like.

The bar measures 35 by 7 mm and has a 2 mm round natural birthstone set flush into one end, so nothing stands proud to catch on a sweater. It hangs from a 1 mm solid 14K gold cable chain that adjusts from 16 to 18 inches and closes with a spring ring. Choose white, yellow or rose gold.

Every birthstone here is natural: garnet for January, amethyst, aquamarine, a .03 ct diamond for April (G-H color, I1 clarity), emerald, alexandrite for June, ruby, peridot, sapphire, pink tourmaline for October, citrine for November and blue zircon for December. December's other birthstones, tanzanite and turquoise, are not offered on this piece.

A mother's necklace, one name at a time. Engrave a child's name beside their birthstone. For more than one child, several bars layer neatly on their fine chains, one for each name.

Engraving. Up to 8 characters on the front and 8 on the back, in Script MT Bold, Edwardian Script, Old English or Helvetica; the lettering guide in the photos shows each style.
