Scroll Bar Freshwater Pearl Necklace in 14K Yellow Gold (4.5–5mm pearl)

Two gold scrolls sweep out from a single pearl and finish in a milgrain-edged point, an ornate bar that still lies flat at the base of the throat.

The bar measures 28.3 by 9.5 mm in solid 14K yellow gold and centers a round, AA-quality cultured freshwater pearl of 4.5 to 5 mm. It is fixed to a 1 mm cable chain at both sides, 16 inches long, with a spring ring clasp.

It sits at the collarbone, so it pairs well with open necklines and longer pendants.

Pearl care: pearls rate only 2.5 to 3 on the Mohs scale, so put this on last, after perfume, hair spray and lotion, and take it off first. Wipe the pearls with a soft, damp cloth after wearing and store the piece on its own, never in a plastic bag. Never use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner.
