Leaves grow out of the shank on both sides, each one outlined in milgrain and centred with a diamond, and they carry a 6.0 to 6.5mm cultured freshwater pearl between them. The vintage look comes from the metalwork rather than from piling on stones, which is why it stays quiet.

It suits someone drawn to estate jewellery without the estate-jewellery gamble. The accent diamonds are natural (mined) diamonds, not lab-grown. Solid 14K gold or platinum, sized to order.

Pearl care. Pearls are soft and porous, so keep this one away from ultrasonic cleaners, steam, perfume and chlorine. Wipe it with a soft damp cloth after wearing and it stays bright for decades.

On pearl colour. Cultured pearls carry a natural overtone and no two are identical, so the pearl on the piece you receive may read a touch warmer or cooler than the photograph of another metal on this page. That variation is the gem, not a fault.
