Details
Two hand-forged nails, bound at the center where the arms cross, make up this cross. The shafts are left with a hammered, uneven surface and the heads are flared and textured, so it reads as iron work cast in gold rather than a polished ornament.
At 59.5 by 35.25 mm and close to 12 grams, it is the largest and heaviest cross in our men's collection, sized to hold its own on a broad chest. It suits a confirmation sponsor, a father on his fiftieth, or a man who wants his faith to be plainly visible.
Chain included. It ships on a solid 14K gold 1.75 mm rope chain with a spring-ring clasp, in the same gold as the cross. Choose 20 inches to sit at the collarbone or 24 inches to fall at mid-chest over a shirt; the price shown already includes the chain.
