The Natural Tanzanite & Diamond Ring centres on a natural tanzanite - the blue-violet variety of the mineral zoisite, prized for its rare velvety colour that shifts between blue and violet in the light - cut as a oval stone, measuring roughly 6x4mm and held in a diamond-accented oval in solid white gold.
This is a genuine natural tanzanite. Virtually all tanzanite is heat-treated to bring out its signature blue-violet colour - a standard, stable and permanent trade practice, disclosed here per AGTA guidance. Tanzanite is found in only one place on earth, the Merelani Hills of Tanzania, which makes it one of the rarest coloured gems you can own.
