This is the three-bar Orthodox cross: a short upper bar for the inscription, the main crossbar, and the slanted footrest below. The Greek letters IC XC, for Jesus Christ, are engraved on either side of the crossbar, and the outline is shaped with rounded lobes.
It measures 40 by 26 mm and weighs about 4.8 grams, with a slightly domed, polished face and engraved detail that stays legible. It is a natural baptism-anniversary or name-day gift for an Orthodox man, and a respectful one.
Chain included. It ships on a solid 14K gold 1.75 mm rope chain with a spring-ring clasp, in the same gold as the cross. Choose 20 inches to sit at the collarbone or 24 inches to fall at mid-chest over a shirt; the price shown already includes the chain.
