Details
The round solitaire everyone pictures: one bright lab-grown diamond in four slim prongs, gliding on its chain from a small gold bail. Nothing competes with the stone, so it looks right with a T-shirt and right with a black dress.
Chain included. It arrives ready to wear on a solid 14K gold cable chain, 18 inches long, with a lobster clasp, in the same gold as the pendant. The chain is sized to the stone so the larger diamonds hang properly: 1 mm for the 1/3 and 1/2 ct, 1.3 mm for the 3/4 and 1 ct, and 1.5 mm for the 2 ct.
If you are buying for someone else, this is the low-risk choice. A graduation, a twentieth anniversary, a new baby: the round solitaire suits all of them, and the five sizes let you choose a quiet everyday 1/3 ct or a 2 ct that people will notice.
The center is a single round lab-grown diamond, offered from 1/3 to 2 carats, graded VS clarity and F color or better. The usual hesitation with lab-grown is whether it is a real diamond. It is, in every physical sense: the same crystal, the same hardness, the same way of handling light. The difference is origin and cost, and that difference is what puts a 2 ct round within reach.
Approximate diamond size by weight: 1/3 ct about 4.5 mm; 1/2 ct about 5.2 mm; 3/4 ct about 5.75 mm; 1 ct about 6.5 mm; 2 ct about 8 mm.
Several sizes share one product photograph, so the stone can look the same in the gallery; the measurements above and the size chart on the neck show the real difference.
The listed price is the whole necklace, chain and all. Start with the gold color she wears most, then choose the carat weight; each option shows its own ship time.

Answers, before you ask
Your Questions
Is the chain included?
Yes. Every size comes complete on a solid 14K gold 1 mm to 1.5 mm cable chain, 18 inches long, with a lobster clasp, in the same gold as the pendant. The chain is sized to the stone: 1/3 ct on a 1 mm chain; 1/2 ct on a 1 mm chain; 3/4 ct on a 1.3 mm chain; 1 ct on a 1.3 mm chain; 2 ct on a 1.5 mm chain.
How big does each carat weight look?
Approximate pendant sizes: 1/3 ct, diamond about 4.5 mm, pendant about 8.5 by 4.5 mm; 1/2 ct, diamond about 5.2 mm, pendant about 9.5 by 5 mm; 3/4 ct, diamond about 5.75 mm, pendant about 11 by 6 mm; 1 ct, diamond about 6.5 mm, pendant about 12 by 6.2 mm; 2 ct, diamond about 8 mm, pendant about 14 by 7.75 mm. The longer measurement includes the bail. Up to 1/2 ct it reads as a fine everyday sparkle; at 1 and 2 ct it becomes the focal point of an outfit.
Is this a lab-grown diamond?
Yes. It is lab-grown, graded VS clarity and F color or better, which keeps the stone bright and white at every size. Lab-grown diamonds test as diamond because they are diamond.
Which carat weight should I choose?
For a first diamond or a layering piece, start at 1/3 or 1/2 ct. The 3/4 and 1 ct have clear presence at the collarbone without feeling formal. The 2 ct is a statement and wears best on its own.
Can I return it?
Yes. Necklaces can be returned within 30 days of delivery, unworn and in original condition.
