Chain included. It arrives ready to wear on a solid 14K gold 1 mm to 1.3 mm cable chain, 18 inches long, with a lobster clasp. The chain is the same gold as the pendant you choose. The chain is sized to the stone: 1/4 ct on a 1 mm chain; 1/3 ct on a 1 mm chain; 1/2 ct on a 1 mm chain; 3/4 ct on a 1.3 mm chain.

Your diamond is a natural round of 1/4 to 3/4 carat with I1 clarity and G–H color. We would rather you hear it from us: I1 is not a clean grade, and inclusions may be visible to the naked eye; the larger the stone, the easier they are to find. G–H keeps it looking white against all three golds. What the grade buys is size, a mined 1/2 ct that measures about 5 mm across instead of a smaller stone graded higher.

Approximate diamond size by weight: 1/4 ct about 4 mm; 1/3 ct about 4.5 mm; 1/2 ct about 5 mm; 3/4 ct about 6 mm.
