A round turquoise cabochon sits in a bezel with a small gold bead at each of the four points, like a little compass.
This is natural turquoise that has been stabilized, which means a clear resin is worked into the stone to strengthen it and hold its color. It is the standard treatment for turquoise used in fine jewelry, and we disclose it on every piece.
Made to order in solid 14K yellow gold, 14K white gold. Turquoise rates 5 to 6 on the Mohs scale and is slightly porous, so treat it gently: put it on after lotion and perfume, wipe it with a soft damp cloth, and keep it away from ultrasonic and steam cleaners, heat and household chemicals.
Turquoise is a traditional December birthstone and the gem for an 11th anniversary, which makes this an easy gift. Returns are accepted within 30 days, unworn and in original condition.
