Each earring holds a natural round diamond, 5.7 mm across: 2 in the pair, 1 1/2 ct in total. The diamonds are G to H color. Diamond rates 10 on the Mohs scale, the hardest gem there is.
Are they sold as a pair or singly?
They are sold as a matched pair, so both earrings come together in one order. The price shown is for the pair.
How are the stones set?
Each stone is held by 4 prongs. Prongs let light into the stone from the sides; check them now and then so the stones stay secure.
What backs do they use?
They close with threaded flat backs. The post is about 0.44 inch long. Check the backs now and then, as you would with any earring.
Which metals can I choose, and is white gold plated?
Choose 14K yellow, white or rose gold; or platinum. All the gold is solid 14K, never gold-plated. White gold is finished with rhodium, which a jeweler can refresh over time. Platinum is naturally white and polishes back to a high shine.
Can I return the pair?
