The center keeps the spotlight, and the shoulders do the supporting work. Two short lines of natural diamonds sit on the shoulders alone, leading the eye inward without crowding the ruby or competing for its color. Those accents are G to H at SI clarity. The stone is mined corundum, heat-treated in the standard, disclosed way, hand-picked to a strong, saturated red that warm gold flatters and white gold sharpens. Every ring is made or sized to your ring size, and engagement rings are set with the center stone you choose, so a ring can’t be returned or exchanged for a refund or another size. Please confirm your size before you order; our concierge is glad to help. If a ring arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 7 days and we’ll make it right, and every piece carries our free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

What exactly is the center stone?
A natural ruby, 1 to 2 ct, in round or oval. The ruby is heat-treated to improve its color, a standard and permanent treatment. Carat weights are nominal, so the actual weight can run slightly under the figure shown.
What does the price include?
The price shown includes the setting, the natural ruby center and the accent diamonds, set and finished for you.
Tell me about the accent diamonds.
The setting carries 28 natural accent diamonds. They are G to H color, SI clarity. They come set, and their cost is included in the price shown.
Which metals can I choose, and is white gold plated?
Choose 14K white, yellow or rose gold; or 18K white, yellow or rose gold. All the gold is solid 14K and 18K, never gold-plated. White gold is finished with rhodium, which a jeweler can refresh over time.
Which sizes are offered, and can it be resized later?
US sizes 4 to 9, in quarter sizes. Our concierge can arrange resizing through our jeweler partner and will quote the cost before any work begins.
Can I return it?
Rings are final sale, as each is made or sized to your size; please confirm it first, and our concierge can help. If it arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we'll repair, replace or refund it.
How do I care for ruby?
Hard enough for every day. Clean it with warm soapy water and a soft brush, and store it on its own.
