The Black Onyx & Diamond Round Halo Ring centres on a genuine natural black onyx, cut and polished to a deep, glossy jet black that plays beautifully against solid gold. Set as a diamond halo framing the onyx, the round stone reads bold and graphic on the hand, measuring roughly 8mm.

1/8 ctw of natural diamonds accent the design, disclosed with equal prominence to the natural onyx centre. Every stone is real: the onyx is genuine natural onyx (a chalcedony), and the diamonds are natural too - never lab-created or imitation.

As is standard throughout the jewellery trade, natural onyx is colour-enhanced (dyed) to achieve its even jet-black tone - a permanent, long-established treatment. Onyx is a durable gem (about 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale), but to protect its polish and colour, clean it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic and steam cleaners. Set in solid gold - never plated.
