Channel-Set Natural Peridot Stud Earrings

A single 4 x 2 mm baguette of natural peridot, channel-set flush between two walls of metal. No prongs, no bezel rim — just a clean rectangle of green sitting level with the metal. A baguette is a long, flat step cut, and setting it in a channel is what keeps the line of the stone unbroken by prongs. Caring for peridot. Peridot is Mohs 6.5–7 and is sensitive to sudden temperature change and to acids, including some household cleaners.
