The stone is corundum grown in a lab, vivid red and a full nine on Mohs, calibrated to your size and never out of stock. Natural G-to-H diamonds can accent the gallery at SI clarity. Prefer a mined stone? The real ruby version is a step up and waiting. Yours is made after you order, roughly three to four weeks out.

Every order ships free and fully insured by UPS Ground; orders of $500 or more ship by complimentary UPS Express, signature required on delivery (a $50 upgrade below that). The ship estimate for your selection is shown beside the price.
Rings are final sale. Every ring is made or sized to your ring size, and engagement rings are set with the center stone you choose, so a ring can’t be returned or exchanged for a refund or another size. Please confirm your size before you order; our concierge is glad to help. If a ring arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 7 days and we’ll make it right, and every piece carries our free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

What exactly is the center stone?
A lab-grown ruby sits at the center, 1 to 2 ct, in your choice of five shapes. It is the same mineral as a mined ruby, grown in a lab. Carat weights are nominal, so the actual weight can run slightly under the figure shown.
What does the price include?
The price shown includes the setting, the lab-grown ruby center and the accent diamonds, set and finished for you.
Tell me about the accent diamonds.
The setting carries 2 to 18 natural accent diamonds, depending on the shape and center size. They are G to H color, SI clarity.
Which metals can I choose, and is white gold plated?
Choose 14K white, yellow or rose gold; or 18K white, yellow or rose gold. All the gold is solid 14K and 18K, never gold-plated. White gold is finished with rhodium, which a jeweler can refresh over time.
Which sizes are offered, and can it be resized later?
US sizes 3 to 10, in quarter sizes. Our concierge can arrange resizing through our jeweler partner and will quote the cost before any work begins.
Can I return or exchange it?
Rings are final sale, as each is made or sized to your size; please confirm it first, and our concierge can help. If it arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we'll repair, replace or refund it.
How do I care for ruby?
Hard enough for every day. Clean it with warm soapy water and a soft brush, and store it on its own.
