White Sapphire Stud Earrings, Hexagon Frame 4 mm

Six prongs hold a 4 mm round white sapphire inside a clean hexagonal plate. The geometry does the work: flat planes around a bright round stone. Each earring measures 9.22 x 8.01 mm overall, so it covers noticeably more of the lobe than the 4 mm bezel stud in this collection at 5.5 x 5.5 mm. There is no diamond here. The frame is solid metal, and the sapphire carries the light on its own. Friction post and back. The stone is natural corundum without color, graded AA by our supplier. Corundum sits at 9 on the Mohs scale, just under diamond. This stone may have been heat treated to improve color and clarity. Warm water, a mild soap and a soft brush are all it needs. Because these are natural stones, small differences from the photograph are expected.
