Opal & Diamond Pearl Ring

Rays of baguette diamond and white opal fan out from a 5mm Akoya cultured pearl, and the result is closer to a deco brooch than to a normal pearl ring. Nothing else in this collection looks like it.

Two soft gems in one piece means it wants gentle handling, so treat it as an occasion ring rather than a daily one. The accent diamonds are natural (mined) diamonds, not lab-grown. The opal is natural white opal, and it carries the warm pink-peach body colour you can see in the photographs. Play-of-colour in natural opal varies from stone to stone, so treat any flash as a bonus rather than a promise. Solid 14K gold or platinum, made to your finger size.

Pearl care. This ring sets a pearl and an opal together. Both are soft and both dislike heat and moisture loss, so never clean it in an ultrasonic or a steamer, and take it off before swimming or showering.

On pearl colour. Cultured pearls carry a natural overtone and no two are identical, so the pearl on the piece you receive may read a touch warmer or cooler than the photograph of another metal on this page. That variation is the gem, not a fault.
