Rays of baguette diamond and white opal fan out from a 5mm Akoya cultured pearl, and the result is closer to a deco brooch than to a normal pearl ring. Nothing else in this collection looks like it.
Two soft gems in one piece means it wants gentle handling, so treat it as an occasion ring rather than a daily one. The accent diamonds are natural (mined) diamonds, not lab-grown. The opal is natural white opal, and it carries the warm pink-peach body color you can see in the photographs. Play-of-color in natural opal varies from stone to stone, so treat any flash as a bonus rather than a promise. Solid 14K gold or platinum, made to your finger size.
Pearl care. This ring sets a pearl and an opal together. Both are soft and both dislike heat and moisture loss, so never clean it in an ultrasonic or a steamer, and take it off before swimming or showering.
On pearl color. Cultured pearls carry a natural overtone and no two are identical, so the pearl on the piece you receive may read a touch warmer or cooler than the photograph of another metal on this page. That variation is the gem, not a fault.

What are the stones?
A cultured white Akoya pearl, round, 5 mm across. The pearl is half-drilled and secured in its setting, the standard way to mount a pearl. Alongside, there are 8 natural diamonds and 8 natural opals, 1/4 ct of diamonds in total.
Which metals can I choose, and is white gold plated?
Choose 14K yellow, white or rose gold; or platinum. All the gold is solid 14K, never gold-plated. White gold is finished with rhodium, which a jeweler can refresh over time. Platinum is naturally white and polishes back to a high shine.
How big is it on the hand?
The face of the ring is about 13 x 13.1 mm and the band is about 2.2 mm wide at the base, rising about 3.1 mm from the finger. Measurements are approximate and vary slightly with the ring size.
Which sizes are offered, and can it be resized?
US sizes 6 to 8, in quarter sizes. Choose your size on this page; each ring is made or sized to order. Our concierge can arrange resizing through our jeweler partner and will quote the cost before any work begins.

How do I care for white Akoya pearl?
A pearl goes on last and comes off first. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wearing; no chemicals, ultrasonic or steam. Gold resists tarnish; a soft cloth brings back the shine.
