A natural white opal, cut as a smooth cabochon, 2 mm across. It also carries 3 natural diamonds, 0.02 ct in total. The diamonds are G to H color, I1 clarity in gold and SI2 to SI3 in platinum.
How is it set, and how big is the pendant?
The white opal sits in a bezel, a smooth rim of metal with nothing to catch. The pendant measures about 14.5 x 12.6 mm, across its widest points.
Is a chain included?
Yes. It is a finished necklace on a 1 mm cable chain with a lobster clasp. The chain comes attached, so it arrives ready to wear.
How long is it?
It adjusts from 16 to 18 inches, so one chain covers several looks. At 16 inches it sits at the base of the neck; at 18 inches it rests at the collarbone.
Which metals can I choose, and is white gold plated?
Choose 14K white, yellow or rose gold; or platinum. All the gold is solid 14K, never gold-plated. White gold is finished with rhodium, which a jeweler can refresh over time. Platinum is naturally white and polishes back to a high shine.
