Open Square Citrine Necklace with Diamonds

An open square worn on point, its four sides bead-set with 21 natural diamonds, 3/8 ctw in all, with a single 3.5 mm princess-cut natural citrine prong-set at the top apex above the frame. The centre is deliberately open, and that is the whole trick: at 19.62 mm across it reads bright and graphic rather than heavy, and the warm citrine at the apex stops it looking like plain diamond jewelry. Solid 14K white, yellow or rose gold or platinum, on a 1 mm cable chain adjustable between 16 and 18 inches, chain included.
