An elongated oval garnet, framed by a 1/3 ctw halo that alternates round diamonds along the flanks with fans of tapered baguettes above and below — a deco geometry rather than a plain ring of light. The oval reads a touch more modern and flattering than a round, drawing the eye up and along the neckline. Solid 14K white, yellow, or rose gold or platinum on an adjustable chain.
