Details
Vintage-inspired means the shank and gallery were drawn from period work rather than sketched to look old. The detailing sits under the oval, where you notice it on the hand rather than in a photograph. Yellow gold is the honest tile for it. A ring for someone who finds most modern engagement rings a little bare.
The center is a calibrated lab-grown oval diamond, F to G color and VS clarity, offered at 0.75 / 1.10 carats. Calibrated means the stone is cut to a size class rather than sold as a single numbered stone: the carat shown is the class nominal, and the diamond you receive falls inside a tight published range around it. That is the reason this ring costs what it does. If you would rather have an individually selected, individually certificated diamond in this same setting, we will source one and quote it.
Made in 14K White Gold, 14K Yellow Gold, 14K Rose Gold and platinum, then cut and set to your finger size after you order. The price on this page is the complete ring, center included, not a mounting you then have to fill.
If this is a gift, the practical notes: we build it to your ring size, so nothing has to be guessed at the moment it matters, and if you are unsure of the size, our concierge can help you confirm it before you order, since rings are made to size and are final sale. Every ring is made to order for you, so it is worth confirming the size, metal and center before you order; our concierge is glad to help.

Answers, before you ask
Your Questions
What exactly is the center stone?
A lab-grown diamond sits at the center, 0.75 ct or 1.10 ct, oval. It is graded F to G color and VS clarity.
What does the price include?
The price shown includes the setting, the lab-grown diamond center, set and finished for you.
How is the center stone held?
It is held by 4 prongs. Prongs hold the stone securely while letting light reach it from the sides; have them checked once a year.
Which metals can I choose, and is white gold plated?
Choose 14K yellow, white or rose gold; or platinum. All the gold is solid 14K, never gold-plated. White gold is finished with rhodium, which a jeweler can refresh over time. Platinum is naturally white and polishes back to a high shine.
How wide is the band, and how high does the stone sit?
At the base the band is about 1.5 mm wide, and the setting rises about 5.6 to 6 mm from the finger, depending on the center size and shape.
Which sizes are offered, and can it be resized later?
US sizes 4 to 9, in quarter sizes. Our concierge can arrange resizing through our jeweler partner and will quote the cost before any work begins.
Can I return or exchange it?
Rings are final sale, as each is made or sized to your size; please confirm it first, and our concierge can help. If it arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we'll repair, replace or refund it.
How do I care for the diamond?
Diamond is the hardest gem, though a hard knock can still chip an edge. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush restore the sparkle. Gold resists tarnish; a soft cloth brings back the shine.
