Oval Pink Tourmaline & Diamond Bezel Necklace

A 5 by 3 mm oval of natural pink tourmaline closed in a full bezel, with a single natural diamond bezel-set directly above it so the two collets stack. The bezel wall wraps the girdle completely, which is the most protective setting there is for a stone of this hardness.

At 8.41 by 6.89 mm the pendant is compact and almost snag-free: no prong tips to catch on knitwear, which is why bezels are what people reach for when a necklace is meant to stay on.

It hangs on a solid gold cable chain that adjusts between 16 and 18 inches, so you set the drop where you want it.
