Oval Pink Tourmaline & Diamond Halo Necklace

A 7 by 5 mm oval of natural pink tourmaline (a genuinely substantial stone for this species) with a full third of a carat of natural diamonds around and beneath it. The finished pendant runs 16.1 by 9.3 mm.

A third of a carat is where a halo stops being an accent and starts being a second material. Against pink tourmaline's slightly warm pink it reads as a cool white border, which is what makes the colour sit forward.

It hangs on a solid gold cable chain that adjusts between 16 and 18 inches, so you set the drop where you want it.
