Oval White Sapphire Stud Earrings, .03 ct tw Diamond

A 5 x 3 mm oval white sapphire in a full bezel, with one 1.5 mm natural diamond set directly above it. Same construction as the round bezel stud in this collection, drawn out into an oval, so it sits along the lobe instead of squaring up on it. Each earring measures 8.6 x 4.3 mm and stands 2.3 mm high, a lower profile than the diamond-accented round bezel stud at 3 mm or the bezel-set cluster at 3.68 mm. Friction post and back. Natural, non-serialized accent diamonds of G-H color. Our supplier does not publish a clarity grade at this stone size. Carat weight is nominal and may vary slightly. Natural corundum, graded AA and colorless. Hardness of 9 puts it directly below diamond, which is why it suits pieces worn daily. The stone may have been heat treated for color and clarity, which is standard and does not reverse. Soap, warm water and a soft brush; nothing stronger is needed. The photograph shows one pair; natural stones vary slightly from it.
